Place the scale on a hard, even surface. Step on with dry, bare feet. Make sure your soles are firmly planted on the electrodes.

Step 2

Grab the handle. Press both thumbs on the electrodes above the screen, and curl all other fingers around the handle tightly.

Pull the handle up to waist level or until you can stand straight. Keep your arms fully extended at a comfortable length.

  1. The MorphoScan Nova Scale must be used with the RENPHO Health App. When linking the scale to the app, please fill in your personal information accurately so as not to affect data accuracy.

  2. Place the scale on a flat surface and avoid measuring when wearing socks.

  3. Stand barefoot on the Scale to increase measurement accuracy.

  4. Body fat percentage is suitable for users between 10 and 100 years old.

  5. The scale is only for daily use at home, and should not be considered for medical purposes. A medical professional should be consulted when undertaking any dietary modification or exercise program.
  6. Children under 8 or individuals who are pregnant, have osteoporosis, a pacemaker, artificial joints, portable ECG or other metal implants should use the scale for weighing purposes only and make sure to wear shoes to prevent any electric current when stepping onto the scale.

  7. The minimum operating system requirements for our app are iOS 12.0 and Android 7.0.

Yes. The MorphoScan Nova scale is designed for the entire family. It automatically recognizes who is stepping on it based on their unique body metrics. While the scale stores data locally, the Renpho Health App supports unlimited user profiles, allowing everyone to track their own trends privately and independently.
What are electrodes? What is the difference between a 4-electrode and 8-electrode scale?

Electrodes are the metal plates or nodes on a scale that make contact with your skin and conduct electricity through the body. They each transmit signals to one another, receive signals in return, and measure differences in voltage between two points of contact. The more points of contact there are, the more precise your results will be.

4-electrode scales typically come in the form of just footplate with no handle, have one electrode on each corner of the scale, and send signals only through the feet. Since these scales are confined to making contact through the lower body, they’re best for simply getting a general sense of what’s improved and what needs to change, beyond just your weight.

8-electrode scales typically come with a handle attached to the footplate, have four electrodes on the footplate and four on the handle, and send signals through the hands and feet. Because these scales have double the contact points and direct access to the upper body, they’re a better option for greater accuracy, deeper insights, and a more complete analysis.
Do I need to pay to access any part of the RENPHO Health App?

No, there is no need to pay for anything. Every feature available on the RENPHO Health App is completely free.
Can I sync or import data from other fitness apps into the RENPHO Health App?

No. At the moment, data syncing between our RENPHO Health App and any third-party apps compatible with our devices works one-way only: data can only be exported from our app, and cannot be imported.

    Can't attest to its accuracy without a known standard. The results are similar to a previous scale i owned, but this scale has more metrics

    Best smart scale I have owned

    If you want to know exactly where your muscle gains are happening, this is the scale for you. The segmental analysis shows exactly how much lean mass is in each limb. It has completely changed how I track my gym progress.

    GREAT STUFF

    The scale came today very nice no issues works great! When I stepped on it got & my results through the app OMG Wish I had better numbers and reports to see ( Im so out of shape its sad) only wish I got this scale a long time back this is really going to help me to stay on track and make better numbers for myself each week. The app is pretty good so far has 11 reports to see bone mass, water, muscle mass, protein, body fat and more this will make each day easier to keep my eye on the prize:
